Monday eats

Monday morning: Kale and berry smoothie, string cheese.

Monday afternoon: Green salad with cherry tomatoes, hearts of palm, goat cheese, caramelized onions and baked tofu. Snack of mini Reese’s PB cup, handful of gummy worms. Gummy worms have a creepy yet satisfying texture.

Monday evening: Handful of pita chips. Dinner with Kate and her man: bread + butter, four oysters, half a squash blossom, fried chicken with mashed potatoes and greens, 1.5 glasses of Pinot Noir, caramel + chocolate pot de creme.

Town Hall one sentence review: Beautiful interior, decent food, “meh” service, but a local celebrity sighting of former mayor Willie Brown. 3 out of 5 stars.

Weekend eats

Friday night: Cheese enchilada with side of refried beans + rice. Mandarin Jarritos

Saturday morning: Dungeoness crab omelette with greens. Two mimosas, one giant coffee.

Saturday afternoon: One Bloody Mary, three beers, one champagne, one glass of Pinot Grigio. One grilled cheese and tomato sandwich with potatoes.

Sunday morning: English breakfast tea and cinnamon-sourdough french toast.

Sunday afternoon: Turkey sandwich on Dutch Crunch with avocado + cheese. Potato chips and an Arnold Palmer.

Sunday evening: Penne with marinara + brussels sprouts. Mint chocolate bites for dessert.
